A Trim in Time for Easter

Emma had her first official haircut this week.  We visited the same barber that Mommy had when she was a little girl.  Emma sat absolutely still as the barber, Rita, cut her hair.  She loved looking in the mirror and at the scissors as Rita snipped away at her bangs.  Emma even sat still enough so that she could get French braids.

I thought scissors were for cutting out shapes.

I like seeing myself in the mirror
 Whoa, what are you doing?
Mommy will be asked to make braids like this in the future.  Not happening.

In addition to haircuts, Emma and Ani decorated Easter eggs.  Emma liked bathing the eggs in the dye and putting stickers on the dried eggs.  Every morning she looks at the eggs and talks about who made each egg as she eats breakfast.

Mommy, stop taking photos so we can start.

This dipper is so bendable, how do they expect me to the get the egg back out?

A few paper towels later, the egg has made it out of the container.
