Mommy brought home recycled sheet paper last week for Emma to trace her image on. Emma loved being traced by Mommy and would giggle as Mommy tickled her feet with the marker. Later on in the week, when she spent time with Daddy, she colored in the body she had made on the paper. Daddy left Emma for a few minutes, and when he returned, he found she had done this to her own body. Things we currently know.... Emma can now open markers on her own. Emma's favorite color is orange. Thank goodness Mommy bought washable markers!

Because I am Happy
Analise is often times just a smiling, happy baby. This past weekend, she showed the family how she could roll over from her front to her back. From the look she gets in her eyes when Emma pays attention to her, Mommy and Daddy can tell that Ani adores her sister. She can hardly wait to be able to play with Emma (or maybe just steal all of the toys Emma thinks belong to her and her alone).

Let me tell you about the time I found a rattle
Ani is quite the talker. She has some fantastic stories to tell us - listen in!
Emma and Ani
The girls already like to play together. Emma likes to have responsibilities, such as holding Ani or giving her the bottle.

The Hoff
The Simple Life
Some days Mommy wishes she could join in on all the relaxing play activities that Analise participates in. Although Analise enjoys spending time with friends at daycare, she also loves talking to objects like frog. Three more weeks until summer vacation and things slow down around here (at least a little bit).
Ani: Do you by chance know where I put my Nuk? Friend: No unfortunately, I can't find mine either.

You understand me Mr. Frog. Thanks for listening.
