At Emma's new preschool, everything in the house is at her level. The picture above shows Emma getting ready to help prepare a snack with some of her friends. Mommy and Daddy are excited for our first family gathering in February where we will get to see all of the projects that Emma has been involved in during the past month. We also get to meet the families that are part of Emma's classroom.
Emma has adjusted extremely well to her new surroundings. When Mommy comes to pick her up, she gives Mommy a tour of the gym and classrooms. She knows exactly where all of her personal items are located as well as how to find specific things that she needs in the classroom. She has also picked up on quite a few skills after only being here for a few weeks. Emma can now put on her own underwear and pants. She also knows how to use zippers and is trying to button things on her own. She is more open to helping Mommy and Daddy put away items around the house and helping prepare meals. The best part is how many words she has picked up on. The only thing that has been hard for Mommy is getting Emma to leave the classroom that she has become so attached to at the end of the day.
